I
have been working with children and families in educational
settings and in private practice for many years. As both an
educator and a facilitator I bring many diverse talents to
my work, including doula support, yoga, bodywork and early
childhood development. I began my career with a masters in
early childhood development from Arcadia University in Philadelphia.
I went on to become a child development specialist for a hospital
based HIV and drug treatment program, have taught pre-school
and was a program coordinator for an early intervention center
working with families and children with special needs from
birth to age three.
Through my lifelong personal exploration
of yoga and my training as a massage and CranioSacral therapist,
I have developed a unique and diverse practice and have
created a program that is individualized and more wholistic
than mainstream interventions. Moving From Within is the
culmination of my vision to bring together all of these
passions.
